Courtney “Coco” Gilbert is an author, producer, creative director, choreographer, and storyteller whose work lives at the intersection of movement, imagination, and culture.

As Co-Founder of The Aunties Inc. alongside Teyana Taylor, she has helped shape some of the most talked-about moments in contemporary entertainment — contributing to live performances, visual storytelling, film, television, and cultural experiences that continue to influence a generation. Her creative work spans award shows, touring productions, television, and film, including BET Awards performances, the iconic 106 & Park reunion, the 2026 American Music Awards, and the forthcoming Paramount feature GET LITE.

Beyond the stage and screen, Coco is a world-builder. Through books, films, and original intellectual properties, she creates stories that inspire curiosity, courage, and self-discovery. She is the author of Wolfie Howler and the creator of Commander & Chief, a children’s book series of toddler adventures and life lessons, training little leaders one bootcamp at a time.
